10 Years of Nightmare Soup
Nightmare Soup is collection of short horror stories that was started as an homage to the legendary Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and other classic 90s books.
The series is written to be creepy enough for adults to enjoy, but still safe for most kids age 10+ (no language or adult themes, but darker than Goosebumps). A movie version would likely be rated PG-13.
In the last 10 years, Nightmare Soup now has its own trilogy, a podcast produced by Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting (distributor of the popular Terrifier movies and Art the Clown), and plenty more to come. For a television example, Nightmare Soup has a tone comparable to Stranger Things, or the darker episodes of Are You Afraid of The Dark.

Inspired by the legendary Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, the Nightmare Soup series is nearly a decade of work, comprised of over 100 original, illustrated stories. Plus, many of the original stories have been revised and rewritten to be longer, scarier and even more entertaining.
In addition to this, we have The Nightmare Society: Volumes 1-3, which is a compilation of stories (also illustrated) from several different writers, all of whom have their own unique voice and style. This adds an additional 60 tales to this massive collection of creeps.
Finally, we'll soon be offering two new books, Nightmare Soup: Bloody Bites, and Nightmare Soup: Morbid Morsels, which will contain even darker stories than what is seen in the original trilogy.

PRICING
